michael pann

Here is Michael Pann who is the head teacher at Landesregierung Salzburg. He is a pool instructor in Salzburg Austria. In 1981 he graduated from the university of Salzburg with a degree in biology. Mike goes by the nickname of "THE SHARK" and for good reasons. In college he was a serious athlete. Now he will turn his talent to mastering the MONK 101 TRAINING MATERIAL.

bill rowsey

Mr Bill Rowsey comes from MS and is ready to devote serious time to his game skills. He is an air traffic controller so he knows how to deal with pressure. Jennifer Lust

JENNIFER LUST She lives in Florida, has her own table and is willing to do all the levels until she reaches her goal of completing the program. She will also be listed as the first MONK 101 female to join the Geese. She is also Scheduled to attend The MONK workshop in Florida. Jennifer is no stranger to success. She studied math at Virginia Tech.

"I went to the Philippines to take The Monks 21 day course. I had the time of my life. The training he took me through really opened my eyes to the effect of how the strokes work. I am dedicated now more than ever to go through this class and complete it with honors. I am a PhD so I do know how to study. I am located in and around Australia". I am also a master swordsman and a martial arts student at the highest level.

BRYAN PETRI

Bryan Petri is a Kansas man who joins us and is now working in THE MONK 101 Hello All. I am excited for this program. Ready to be consistent. I don't mind being behind Todd, so I will take the last spot. Ready to get started and work hard. I am in the Kansas City area and am competing in the City's Corporate Challenge. So have a month to prepare. Thank you Monk for putting this together and making it affordable. I like encouraging people and hope I can encourage y'all on your journey too.

nick acre

Nick Acre is from Texas. He has goals of being a top player and is willing to put in the time and work necessary. At this level right now he is a strong player. I will work with Nick personally during my Texas stop. Honk to this fine young man Nick studied Electrical engineering at The University of Texas at Austin It will be great to get Nick off to a good start while we are in Texas.

David Rowell has been through the program. He did the lessons and worked very hard on his game.. He showed remarkable improvement and turned in great victories in large tournaments and for large cash games. In addition, he booked a 21 day visit to the Philippines to work directly with me. He is going through step by step, mastering each lesson and when he is finished, he will be world class. He already is pro level and has a billiard academy in Birmingham AL. He is a master MONK 101 INSTRUCT

Damon Molina

Damon Molina is an electrician from Glen Burnie MD. He has joined the Florida workshop and the MONK 101. He says he can't wait to get started and I sent him the four strokes material so he is already working hard. Married with full support from his wife.

According to The Monk I was the first to graduate from this training. I started about two years ago but when I heard he was coming to Iowa I signed up for his three days of training. It was the time of my life and I think I made an impression on the Monk as I was the only player able to run a tough pattern he challenged us with. After the class I went back through the MONK 101 training and signed every lesson as mastered. It will be good to be back into training. I will have to take some time

shawn davis

Shawn Davis comes from Ohio and is scheduled to take training in MIchigan whee I will be teaching a class. He is a computer genius when he is not playing pool and rumor has it he is in a serious relationship with Stephanie Prather. He is the son of MONK 101 Member Chuck Davis.

Scott Bourassa

27 years ago Scott Bourassa showed up at the pool hall where I was teaching. He wanted to gamble with me. He had won money at the dog track and like most gamblers he could not stand having that money in his pocket so we played. And I won. We have been friends ever since. A couple of years ago he drove me around the US doing workshops and playing in tournaments.

I am currently living in Italy. returning to S.E.Wisconsin within the next 10-11 months. I got interested in Pool after retiring from bowling (bad knees). I plan on retiring within 5 years and would like to become an instructor/coach to help players of all ages to both learn and promote the sport.

charlie martin

Charlie Martin will start his MONK 101 journey in the Florida workshop. He has the distinction of being the first student to sign up for my workshop. We have been friends for a long time and it will be a pleasure to work with him. He begins his MONK 101 journey in Palm Harbor Florida and is already working on the four strokes of pool.

John Broek went through the 21 days of training with The Monk. He was ot even interested to take a day off. On and on we worked and I was amazed by how he transformed before my eyes. So much so I took him to the local pool hall and was willing to lose a few pesos just to give him the experience of playing under hectic conditions. He won four out of five matches. It was a real pleasure to work with this very serious pool player

brian horner

Brian Horner is our newest member. He loves pool and plays local tournaments a few times a week. Brian owns a restaurant so he is always busy. He will begin the fist Pond and work very hard to make it through the entire program. If you get to the PA area, up in Carlisle then you should stop in for a game and some of his famous barbecued ribs.

George Ralston is taking the TEXAS class to begin his journey through the MONK 101 training. He is retired and now self employed so he will have a lot of time to train. His goal is to become a solid player who can complete with anyone.

Brad McGatha, has goals to join the Pro Tour and is willing to put in the time to achieve those dreams. He is from Springfield MO. the name of SpringfieldSlim. Bear Dan Martinez is a Navy Veteran from the Korean war where we lost 54,000 soldiers. He is disabled and retired and ready for a second career as a pool player.

Aaron Harvey Sikes Known as "The Wolverine" His goal is to be more consistent. However we must define consistency. Your goal must be measurable. You also have to declare your "why" of your goal. Tell us what level of consistency you want to achieve. If you finish this course your will be totally consistent. So your goal can be to complete all the lessons. "The Wolverine" knows how to finish.

I was not shy about my goal to become world class. That is why I am in the Road Players Training. I have the desire. There are few books or DVD's I don't own. John Abster Arago Carillo, known to his friends as Abs is a high level player in the Philippines. He wants to contend with all of the top level players and has joined us so he can reach that level. He lives in the Philippines and has lots of time to train. Honk for this fine player.

Colin Wix joined The MONK 101 and came to the Philippines for 21 days of lessons with The Monk. We made great progress. He did not even want to take a day off. His work ethic is incredible and Colin will complete this program.

Todd Fisher is from the land of Rocky Balboa. He lives and plays pool in the Philly area. I know he will be at the Expo trying to take away my championship. I look forward to seeing Todd grow in this great game.

Jake Barfield one

Jake "smooth stroke" Barfield lives in MN and has nothing to do during those long winter nights but play pool and make babies. he is in his fifties so playing pool will be his focus. Jake attended my class at Big Dog Billiards in Iowa and now has desires to really put the entire game together. It is a joy to work with such a dedicated player. I see total success for this fine gentleman.

Richard Chaney

Richard Chaney has become a member of the MONK 101 training program. He makes his home in Celina OH. Is working hard on his game, taking one pond at a time.

Dominic Many many years ago I went over to the University of Illinois in Chicago to take The Monks Masters class. It was such a great time I attended his class in Minneapolis and then again in Phoenix AZ. I have been with The Monk, teaching for a long time. After training I went on to win top gun in three different leagues and became one of the best players in the Chicago area.I love training. If you are interested in coaching, The Monk says I am one of his best.

Tim Gosnell

Tim Gosnell is one of the finest eight ball players in the Philippines. He has organized a group called The Patriots, of which I am a proud member and they are all going to Bangkok for a big match. Tim is a great supporter of this game. When I visit him, we live large.

Andrew Sarse

Aaron Sarse I've been playing pool most of my life, growing up with a pool table at home. Although it wasn't until several years ago, that I got into playing in leagues that I really learned to step up my game and learned to control the cue ball. Since then, I've played many leagues and tournaments, and ran the weekly tournaments in my town even I lived in Iowa. I'm now living in Las Vegas working on stepping up my game again so I can not just attend tournaments, but to win them. I want to take

Bill Watson Absolutely. Adding muscle memory and stroke knowledge is giving me confidence. One thing also that helped me tremendously is staying down to watch the results of the shot. How many people jump up in disgust after a miss but will have NO idea how to prevent the miss in the future because they don't even know how they missed it.
